Life is a Balance of Holding On and Letting Go

It is said, “Life is a balance of holding on and letting go.” It is relatively easy when you know clearly whether to hold on or let go of something or someone. But when you don’t know it clearly, it becomes incredibly difficult. There are days when you want to hold on so badly and are ready to give it your all. And there are days when you don’t have enough energy, and you just want to let go. This is life. It’s not easy.

This dilemma consumes so much of your energy. You feel stuck in a loop, trying one more time, hoping things will change, but nothing does. Hope appears and vanishes, draining you. You cry. You ask your friends for advice. You’re so confused. You’re scared of losing them, so you don’t want to let go. Yet, the situation has become so bad that holding on seems almost impossible.

You start to think about where it went wrong. You try to change everything, sometimes losing your self-respect in the process. You imagine your life without them, and it breaks your heart. You try to make everything normal, but it just gets worse. You start hating life. You ask yourself what you did to deserve this situation.

These kinds of situations can be very scary. A day that starts with hope can end in heartbreak. A gloomy morning can turn into a beautiful evening. Wins and losses are temporary. You cannot predict what the next day will bring. You hope to get past this situation.

I just want to say, don’t depend on someone’s mood. Choose your life. If they are ready to give up on you, you can also choose to let go. If you have made mistakes that can be fixed, apologize to your partner and hold on. Try to be clear about the situation. Don’t be so harsh on yourself.

In the end, it’s about the choices you make. Choose your side and own your decisions. Stay strong. You are not alone. This situation is something we all face at some point in our lives. I can feel your pain. Don’t lose hope. Deep inside your heart, you know what’s good for you. Choose it. When it gets tough, only tough people get going. You are strong.
